When you place a hire order on the LLL website, you are agreeing to our 'Terms & Conditions' as stated below.
If you do not agree to these T&Cs please do not proceed to make a hire purchase from this website.
TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR HIRE OF LLL PRODUCTS
DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS
Our hire service is currently only available to UK addresses.
The costs of delivery will be displayed to you on our website. We use DPD next day ( Mon-Fri) to deliver our orders. Orders are fully trackable online and DPD states "Collection and delivery are not guaranteed but enjoy a very high success rate".
We are not responsible for delivery delays outside of our control. If our supply of the products is delayed by an event outside our control, then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of delay. Provided we do this, we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay, you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.
If, after a failed delivery to you, you do not re-arrange delivery or collect them from a delivery depot, we will contact you for further instructions and may charge you for storage costs and any further delivery costs. If, despite our reasonable efforts, we are unable to contact you or re-arrange delivery or collection, we may end the contract.
RENTAL PERIOD AND LATE FEES
The rental period commences from when the item leaves the LLL studio and shall continue until the date the item is returned back/ or attempted to be returned to the studio by the postal/ courier service you have chosen.
You will be responsible for payment of returning the item(s) and using the postal/ courier system of your choice. It is highly recommended to choose an insured and tracked service as you are responsible for any damages or loss of the item until it is returned to the studio. It is also advised to photograph the item in its postal box before returning in-case of any issues with delivery and insurance.
You will be charged for the full amount of the hire period (i.e. the refund given from the deposit paid) even if it extends the hire period you initially chose.
e.g. The 2-5 day hire period chosen but item returned 7 days from leaving the studio. Therefore the charge will be of the 6-10 day period.
OWNERSHIP & RETURN OF ITEMS
The rented items are, and will at all times, remain the absolute property of LeatherLookLeg. You are solely responsible for the item(s) you have rented, and are therefore liable for any damage or loss that occurs during the rental period. Regardless of whether you are personally responsible for the damage, you remain liable for the condition of the item because, in signing for your delivery, you agree to take responsibility for the package.
You accept full responsibility for the safekeeping of the item(s) once the package has been signed for.
If you have not returned the rental item 14 days after the return date, we will assume that the item is not going to be returned and will not refund the deposit minus the hire fee.
If the item is returned damaged, you will be contacted with an invoice for the cost of repair or replacement, and this will be deducted alongside the cost of hire, from your initial deposit.
If you cancel an order up to 30 days in advance of your chosen delivery date you are entitled to receive a full refund. Orders cancelled with less than 30 days notice will pay 50% of the rental fee, however the delivery fee will be refunded. To cancel an order, you must give written notice to: email@example.com.
